Top Map: Missing 411 Cases (Under ‘mysteriously vanished’ circumstances)
Bottom Map: Caves Systems throughout the US
The top map was created by David Paulides, a former detective, to highlight missing 411 cases throughout the US near national parks that he deemed “strange”. The bottom map aims to highlight the correlation between these strange missing cases near national parks and the cave systems throughout the country.
National parks are home to nearly 5000 caves.
(PS: Paulides has a really interesting series of books called Missing 411 if you’re looking for a fun read)
